Class Trip to Te Puia

On Wednesday the 21st June, Room 4 visited Te Puia.  What an amazing local attraction to visit and reinforce our learning of  'What is below us?'  We were able to see bubbling mud and pools of boiling water used to cook our morning tea! We went on a Geothermal walk and saw the stunning geysers... and much more.
A big thank you to all our wonderful parent helpers!

💎💎💎 Treasure Stones 💎💎💎

Last week Room 4 made treasure stones. The children have been waiting patiently for them to dry. Today was the day for the big reveal! We pretended to be like paleontologists and tapped away at our stones with hammers. We discovered tiny dinosaurs hiding inside!!!

We were very proud of the way Room 4 behaved and participated in the Fun Run this afternoon. They all cheered on the other children and ran their best! Check out the action shots!
