Buddy Reading 😃😃😃

Our Buddy Class is awesome Room 16. On Tuesday afternoons if it is fine we sit outside with our buddies. We read a book to them and they read a book to us. This is a lovely sharing time that helps us to practice our reading and meet some of the older children in our school.

🎝♫♬ Music with Mrs Vincent 🎝♫♬

We have also been going to Music on a Wednesday with Mrs Vincent. We have been learning to:

  • copy the beat with our sticks.
  • move in time to music.
We have been really impressed with your learning muscles at music Room 4!

Cricket

On Wednesday mornings we have been lucky enough to go to cricket and learn some new skills with the cricket coach. We have been learning to throw underarm, catch the ball with our hands together, run between the wickets and slide our bat over the line so we can get there even faster! We love the way you have all been giving it a go!

Hello from Mrs Bollard

Kia Ora! My name is Charity Bollard. I am very excited to be teaching the gorgeous children in Room 4 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I am passionate about education and feel privileged to be teaching at Otonga Road Pimary School. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I love travel, adventure and teaching! I have taught in London, Korea and Auckland and returned to my hometown of Rotorua with my husband and two children Isabella (6) and Sebastian (3) in 2015. We feel very spoilt to be in Rotorua and love making the most of the lakes and forests.  I look forward to meeting you all and continuing your child's educational journey.

Kind regards

Hello from Mrs Scott

Meet Digger

Meet Digger our class mascot. Every afternoon he chooses one lucky student to take him home for the night. He chooses children who have been showing strong learning muscles; eyes on the teacher, listening ears, hands and bodies to self, walking feet, inside voices and working hard!

Digger has had a hard time choosing because everyone has been trying so hard! Ka rawe Room 4. We have enjoyed reading the diary of his adventures with you and your families so far and look forward to reading many more to come!

Room 4 is awesome!
